Introducing Havelin

Most of the software we use to get work done was built for a world where every action needed a person behind it. That assumption is now the bottleneck.

Havelin starts from a different premise: give people an agent workforce instead of another dashboard. An agent has a name, a role, and its own computer. You talk to it the way you'd talk to a new hire — in Slack, over email, or from your phone — and it goes and does the work, not just describes how to do it.

The first agents we shipped were narrow on purpose: a support triager, an engineer that opens pull requests, a chief of staff that keeps your calendar honest. Narrow roles are easier to trust, and trust is the thing that was actually missing from every 'AI assistant' that came before this.

What surprised us building it wasn't the automation — it was how quickly an agent starts to feel like a colleague once it remembers your corrections. That's the part we're most excited to keep building.
